Long-term Pain Treatment with Cold Laser
Long-term Pain Treatment using Low Level Laser Therapy
Chronic or persistent pain is defined as daily pain that persists for more than three months. In some cases, the pain may continue for many years. One in five Australians suffers from chronic pain.
Unlike acute pain that is a normal sensation, chronic pain is very different. Pain may arise from surgery, illness or injury. Musculoskeletal pain resulting from wear and tear to the body is also a common cause. In some causes there may be no direct link to a cause.
Sufferers may experience chronic pain stemming from headaches, back pain, joint pain or pain from injury. Generalised nerve pain can also become chronic. For many sufferers, the primary goal is to manage the pain, restore movement and improve the overall wellness.
